Circus Studio Folie was founded in 2000 as a childrens hobby club. By today 50 children aged 5 to16 attend trainings 2-4 times a week. We have 6 groups working in two different parts of Tallinn.
Circus Studio`s idea of training is to give first a good physical preparation and on a second or third year a child can choose any circus genre to go forward with.

• boys and girls train separately after first year
  
• beginners groups called Nublud trains 2-3 times per week
  
• advanced groups called FolieFolie are having 2 times a week acrobatics trainings and 2 times circus skills trainings
  
• juggling and diabolo, rolarola, unicycling, contorsion, hulahula, pyramids, ropeskipping, footjuggling and ikaria, tight wire walking and fire juggling etc are being taught.
  
• extra lessons for dancing and acting
  
• Folie has 4 trainers who all have acrobatics background
  
• as new sports in Estonia we are doing sports acrobatics and preparing for our first international competition in Age Group in February 2006.

Project TZIRKUS
Youth Circus School Zappelino from Colonne, Germany and Circus Studio Folie have created a joint project “Tzirkus” to develop youth circus exchange between German and Estonian young circus people.

Purpose of the project:

• With joint workshops improve circus skills and knowledge
  
• Through circus performances introduce both sides groups and culture abroad
  
• Create friendship between children of the two countries
  
• Interactively learn about other cultures
  
• Have the experience of international intercommunication
  
• Practice foreign languages
  
  

Köln 2003
In March 26-30 12 children of Folie visited Colonne to celebrate Zappelinos 20th anniversary. Two joint performances were given on March 28 and 29 in the Zappelino schoolbuilding manege. Folie children stayed with the families of Zappelino and became great friends. Folie had also wonderful time touring in beautiful Colonne with blooming magnolias and meeting with Zoo animals.

Training Camp 2003
August 2-10 Folie and Zappelino 1st training camp in Estonia, Parksepa, takes place. Both sides will organize workshops during the camp, that ends with a performance in Tallinn.
